Specifications: If you are looking for an ultra-portable laptop but don’t take pleasure in putting up with the cramped keyboard and tiny screen of a netbook, consider getting the Acer Aspire AS1410-8414 11.6-inch laptop. This laptop comes with an Intel Core2 Solo processor (1.4Ghz) 2GB or RAM and a 250 hard drive. This model doesn’t have Bluetooth but it does come with a HDMI port, which is rather rare for a laptop of this price. Its 11.6 screen has a 1366 x 768 solution so you may watch HD (at 720p) movies on it.

Design: The Acer Aspire AS1410-8414 11.6-inch laptop sports the very stylish design of the Acer Aspire One netbook. It comes in a assortment of colors, but the Sapphire Blue model looks specially stylish. It measures at 11.2 x 8 x 1.2 inches and weighs in at just 3.1 pounds. The battery lifetime was likewise very impressive, lasting up to 6 hours on a single charge. At the time of writing, the Acer Aspire AS1410-8414 11.6-inch laptop retails for around just $427 each.

Looks great, no HDMI port.

You’ll need a HDMI to DVI adapter for this monitor, which stretchings a regular VGA picture to widescreen (from an old computer). So make sure your video card may handle a widescreen monitor (any newer computer ought to be fine) and get the adapter available on amazon for three dollars or so. Looks good. I picked this monitor out in the store without any background selective information because I thought it is picture looked better than the other monitors on display. (It dosn’t have the HDMI port because it dosn’t come with speakers; you’ll have to have a discerned audio out on your computer/device or get a splitter.) P.S: It has a *really* bright white background!

Great monitor

I got this monitor on black fryday in truth cheap, and I have to say it was a actually good price, this monitor is good in each way, I’m a gamer and watch the ocassional HD movie, and in both I have to say the monitor gets the occupation done

The luminance and contrats I’d say for my test come a bit to high but that’s a matter of tweaking it a bit, it’s very simple.
The picture is actually sharpd and clear, I’m upgrading from a 17″ LCD and I may genuinely see the diference amongst LCD and LED, the monitor is also very thin so I got a bit more space up the back of it, and if you are taking it someplace (wich I did) it’s very light to carry.

The only downside (that’s why I give 4 stars) it is that it doesn’t have HDMI port, you may get DVI to HDMI but I don’t know if the quality would be the same.

Overall great monitor, if you’re looking to buy an LED with good picture at an afordable price this is the one.

love this screen. outstanding picture quality. better then my LG and my other Acer monitor. i use this as my main monitor in my dual screen setup. my other monitor is just a 17 inch Acer i use for instructional videos (i do online schooling) this is the monitor i use for everything else. has a VGA port, and an HDMI port. it’s very slim so they use a power brick rather of a regular power cable most monitors and TV’s use. had i known that i don’t recognise if i’d buy another as i don’t like power bricks. but overall this is a great product. shipped perfective with no dead pixels or any other type of defect.
