This Acer Aspire One AOD 250 review will aid you determine if this is the best mini notebook computer option for you. Many persons find that this queer model comes out of in front of others for a few dissimilar reasons. One is that it is a very powerful option in the world of netbooks, another is that you may save rather a bundle over other companies since Acer is priced so fairly.

One of the most ordinary features of the 250 model is the closely full-sized keyboard. However, since you’ll in all likelihood be journeying and using your Acer notebook on the go, you want to make sure it is ultra-portable. The drawback to portability with computers is that they are many times too little to use adequately. Since this peculiar keyboard is almost full sized, this will not be a problem for you! Even with the great keyboard and 10 inch screen size, you’ll be pleased to know it only weighs 2.4 pounds. With galore netbooks weighing in at regarding 3 pounds or more, this is one of the lightest of the bunch!

The Acer Aspire One AOD 250 comes stocked with a 160 GB hard drive. It has 1 GB of installed RAM (that you may without apparent effort upgrade to 2 GB), and uses an Intel Atom 270 processor. You’ll in all probability find that this Acer laptop works very well for the things you need it for most. Some humans are even using these as their main computer — though that’s probably not the best option if you systematically need more power. Still, using this mini laptop as a associate or travel computer is a very smart decision no matter what your usage patterns.

The downside to this model is that it comes with a three cell battery. Other models in the Acer line may last for up to nine hours, so you may want to consider getting one of those rather if you’ll need something that lasts longer. Still, some people find that three hours is just sufficient time to get a lot of work done or browse the Web on the go.

You’ll also love that Acer makes their mini notebooks very affordable. If you compare other netbook computers with the same specs and quality, you will in general pay a lot more if you go with a dissimilar brand. That’s why this Acer Aspire One AOD 250 review is so positive! It’s a highly dependable brand, and this queer model comes jam-packed with some features that are perfective for you.

4Looks great, no HDMI port.
By Soda’s vids
You’ll need a HDMI to DVI adapter for this monitor, which stretchings a regular VGA picture to widescreen (from an old computer). So make sure your video card may handle a widescreen monitor (any newer computer will have to be fine) and get the adapter available on amazon for three dollars or so. Looks good. I picked this monitor out in the store without any background info because I thought it is picture looked better than the other monitors on display. (It dosn’t have the HDMI port because it dosn’t come with speakers; you’ll have to have a discerned audio out on your computer/device or get a splitter.) P.S: It has a *really* bright white background!

4Great monitor
By ykza5
I got this monitor on black fryday in truth cheap, and I have to say it was a actually good price, this monitor is good in each way, I’m a gamer and watch the ocassional HD movie, and in both I have to say the monitor gets the occupation done

The luminance and contrats I’d say for my test come a bit to high but that’s a matter of tweaking it a bit, it’s very simple.
The picture is actually sharpd and clear, I’m upgrading from a 17″ LCD and I may genuinely see the diference among LCD and LED, the monitor is also very thin so I got a bit more space up the back of it, and if you are taking it someplace (wich I did) it’s very light to carry.

The only downside (that’s why I give 4 stars) it is that it doesn’t have HDMI port, you may get DVI to HDMI but I don’t know if the quality would be the same.

Overall great monitor, if you’re looking to buy an LED with good picture at an afordable price this is the one.

5great product
By Timothy B, Anderson Jr.
love this screen. great picture quality. better then my LG and my other Acer monitor. i use this as my main monitor in my dual screen setup. my other monitor is just a 17 inch Acer i use for instructional videos (i do online schooling) this is the monitor i use for everything else. has a VGA port, and an HDMI port. it’s very slim so they use a power brick rather of a regular power cable most monitors and TV’s use. had i known that i don’t recognise if i’d buy another as i don’t like power bricks. but overall this is a great product. shipped perfective with no dead pixels or any other type of defect.
