5A GREAT NETBOOK
By Turleybill
I got my netbooks (I ordered two)yesterday. They were VERY fast with shipment, arrived ahead of time. This netbook is GREAT. There is no other word to use. The netbook has a beautiful crisp display. At 800 mhz it’s not too fast, but what would you expect for the low price they offer this quality netbook at? It has a stylish case and I love the three standard size USB outlets. I have not yet put in an SD card, but I’m looking forward to using a 32gb card in it. I went on facebook and checked my email last night. Everything worked great. You will have to upload FLASH in order to watch videos. But I had to do that on the last tablet I bought. The keyboard works great. The mouse pad is very tiny, but I just plugged in a standard mouse and it worked fine. You can’t go wrong for this price. You’ll love it as much as I do.

3Nice, cheap but needs work out of the box.
By Anthony N
Netbook has HORRIBLE firmware bugs out of the box that needed fixed immediately before using. Firmware update is fairly straight forward, download the firmware from here:
[...] and extract the files unto the root directory (not inside any folders) of an sdcard. Simply put the sdcard in and boot up the netbook, it will start installing the update. They also include some .apk files for apps that really do help. One of which is an update to the Youtube app thats pre-installed but doesn’t work, at all. The Amazon Market Place, which works and works wonderfully well on this device. The Google Market, which installs but crashes on startup… It simply does not work. And, an Adobe Flash apk, which also doesn’t work at all.

The included App Center is a rebranded SlideME market, which is ok and includes apps that aren’t yet on the Amazon market. Though, the Amazon market is a much cleaner and pleasant experience thus far. I tried installing AppLib (market) which is included on my Archos Handheld, but it errors out on startup stating my device is not supported.

In the end it does Email, web browsing (I installed Dolphin HD), plays music (speakers aren’t all that great), kindle app works well (And, device is light enough to hold like a book), plays videos (Including youtube mobile after firmware upgrade) and runs every app I have installed from the SlideME market and Amazon market. One more thing while I am at it, I have highly disappointed in the touch-pad. Its lethargic, and no settings are included to make it more responsive. After you work on it, its a decent enough device and for the price even knowing what I know now, I would make the purchase again.

1Worst Netbook Ever
By Travis D. Mchenry
We got this netbook for our son, who is five years old, so he would have little computer to watch movies and play games on. Unfortunately, it barely works at all. The set-up is incredibly time consuming and frustrating. For some bizarre reason, Android Market isn’t included on the device, and none of the apps from the online Android Market will download properly. If you were hoping to use ANY of the apps you use on your phone (like Netflix, Facebook, Pandora) think again. The market that’s included is some terrible rip-off called King Kong Market (or SlideMe) that doesn’t have any remotely good apps in it. There’s no touch screen, so good luck getting used to the terrible, terrible touchpad that is basically non-responsive to touch and therefore very difficult to use. To make matters worse, you can’t even go into settings and reprogram the keyboard buttons! If you’re looking a fun little netbook, look elsewhere. This thing is BAD!
